We hear great improvised play to some famous songs of well known guitar players that Edwin decided to play for us. International students left their homelands, friends and families and come here, to Sweden, to get education. Of course, during the period of education we meet new interesting people, have fun and enjoy ourselves, but still miss our native lands.
This programm will be devoted to diffrent cities all other the world. We, with our special guest, Irina Vlassova- Intern at the Council of the Sea States, are going to an improvised musik trip around the world in 60 minutes. We are going to speak about the most beautiful cities ( capitals and not) and give tips to turists what to see in them.
Los Angeles, Moscow, Rome, New Delhi, Kiev, Frankfurt, Paris, Nairobi, Sidney, Oslo and etc.... Add a name of the city, which you are adore and miss - we will mention that in our broadcasting. Share with us info about interesting plases to see and visit in these cities. Thanks for help.

This show talked about this Earth Hour event, that took place simultanously all over the world, and our radio participated also. We talked about why should we do it, who participates and also listened to some good music while saving the electricity and doing the show in darkness :)

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote.

I actually switched to some rock music this time and it was a very good playlist. It was compiled of hits from different times (or even milleniums) and all fit together with some topics.

How to find work in Sweden if you are not Swedish?

HELLO, Everybody!

You are living in Sweden now, aren't you? It doesn't matter what you are doing here - study in University ( in such great University like KTH is) or not, you are like every normal person is thinking about how to earn money and get an experience. It is not an easy thing under the circumstances of world crisis especially. I bet that not so many of international students know Swedish well - so the task is becoming ever harder to solve.
But.... There is always another side of the problem. And we are going to find out our opportunities in the job market.

Soon we will have a Radio Programm with experts from " headhunters" companies. We are going to ask them several questions. So, dear friends, now you have an opportunity to ask them through our group.

Perception and Influence of Classical Music on Young Generations.

Some say that listening to Classical music will generate more neuro activities so parents should play e.g. Mozart et al. for their babies. However when babies grow up, they get to pick their own favorite genre of music. What do young generations think about classical, opera, music? Florian, international PhD student came up with the topic and would like to dig further into the subject on Saturday from 8 to 9 PM.
