The Hello Everybody team was presenting The Community Show on this cold winter/spring night of Friday, 21st April 2006.

This Friday, 3 flatmates of Fabian joined the animators in the studio for presenting music from all around the world. Clara the Swedish, Felix the German and Paul the American, together with Fabian & Remi broadcasted the playlist below.

Was it because of the presence of our first english-native-speaker guest, because of Remi's long absence behind the mixerboard or just because of his sore throat, but the show was first quite disorganised. Fortunately, the guests' playlist helped to move on to a cool musical mood.
This alltogether with Paul's poetry and interesting discussion subject about the increase in oil's prices made this show a new unforgettable 'souvenir' for us and our listeners.

Special dedication to our friend Mohammed, stuck in Burundi, waiting for some material to start working on his project and whose only hobby is to listen to us!

Tonight's playlist was:
00. Hard-Fi - Cash Mashine
01. Snook - Snook, svett och tårar
02. AIR - Californie
03. The Thrills - One horse town
04. Die Fantastischen Vier - Tag am Meer

09. Nada Surf - Blankest year
10. Lali Puna - Left handed
11. Sportfreunde Stiller - Ein Kompliment
12. The Hives - Hate to say I told you so

That's all folks. Thanks for listenning us on 95.3 MHz or www.thsradio.se starting at 22pm, and a big thank you to our three sympathic guests. Please remember that you can write us at hello@thsradio.se.
Next show will either be French Sound from France, with advertisement for The Sound of Paris Club, or a surprise show if our french team-member cannot make it.

STAY TUNED!

And here is the playlist of tonight's random and vibrating show. Random because all our songs were picked randomly thanks to a state-of-the-art choice algorithm that our smart brains invented. Vibrating thanks to the Klubb Rekyl party in Nymble and their hot Drum'n'Bass music passing through the wall and shaking our mixerboard table.
First artist name was chosen by our back-from-the-dead Francisco who needed a bit of refreshment when it came to handling the mixerboard.

Here we go with the tracklist:
00. The now famous Hello Everybody Jingle !
01. First Floor Power - Time Time
02. Ratatat - Germany to Germany
03. Tamiat - Cold Seed
04. Timo Maas - To Get Loud
05. Soul Asylum - Without a Trace
06. Manu Chao - La Rumba de Barcelona
07. Outkast - B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)
08. Therese - Monkey
09. Electricity - One
10. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - PIN
11. Slum Village - Climax
12. Electrofant - Flipstick

That's all folks. See you next week, same time (10pm), same frequency (95.3MHz), same place (THS Radio Studio @ Nymble @ KTH), same crew (the lovely us), same fun (our crappy jokes), same pleasure !
Guess what? Francisco is alive and he is part of our tonight's show: The Totally Random Music Show.

The idea is to pick up one song after another on the THS Radio CD shelves. The first song is chosen randomly by my innocent hand. Then the first letter of the next artist's name is supposed to begin with the last letter of the previously played artist's name... hu? This sounds a bit tricky, even for us, but listen to us and you will understand for sure...or not. But for sure, you will have a great time with tonight's show, starting at 10pm on THS Radio, 95.3 MHz.

You are always welcome to ring our studio phone during the show to influence my innocent hand in its CD-picking frenesy: 07.790.98.69

Hello Everybody,

tonight's show featured some hot events for this weekend and the search for our lost team companion Francisco who hasn't given a life-sign for several weeks.

The music was more or less random, but with a special tribute to our colleagues at Gayradio.

Here is tonight's playlist:

  1. Gift of Gab - Rat Race
  2. The Streets - When you wasn't famous
  3. Bobby Womack - Across 110th Street
  4. Tasmin Archer - Somebody's Daughter
  5. The Beastie Boys - Remote Control
  6. Cassandra Wilson - Come Together
  7. 4 Hero - Won't you open up your senses
  8. Nena - Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann
  9. The Chemical Brothers - Music: Response
  10. St. Germain - Rose rouge
  11. The Rimini Project - Sometimes when we touch
"When you wasn't famous" is part of the THSRadio Top 20. The song by Cassandra Wilson is a very nice Beatles Cover. "Sometimes When we touch" is a special tribute to Gayradio - they used to have it as an intro song. The original version is by Dan Hill.

And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
who was just as sloshed as Schlegel.

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'bout the raisin' of the wrist.
Socrates himself was permanently pissed.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
after half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away,

The Hello Everybody Show, tonight with Remi and Fabian

On Feb 17, 2006, we made a show with an African theme. We had an African
guest, Bruce Zamaere, from Malawi that was in Sweden working on a Project
for KTH. We played different types of Music from all over Africa: North-African
music such as 'Algerian Rai' mainly performed by Cheb Khaled, South African
music such as Kwela and Kwaito music, Zimbabwean music and a famous single from
West Africa called "Madan" by Salif Keita and Moffou. The guest was also
interviewed about each type of Music and we had a chat with him about his
background and country. This show was hosted by Mohammed and Vaggos.

A little bit of history of the show.
The team of Hello Everybody came together last September.

Actually the show is much older but when last year's exchange students left, it was off air for some time.

Remit volunteered on the THSRadio meeting, and Fabian joined a week later. First the team was small, but after a second call the initial team formed

After some weeks the current team had come together:

  • Constantinos
  • Evangelos (called Vaggos)
  • Fabian
  • Francisco
  • Mohammed
  • Remi

This is a picture from 14th of October 2005 showing Francisco on the left, Constantinos in the center and Fabian on the right.

The week after we had finally our first guest on the show: Ronney from Switzerland.

He brought us some music and told us about his roboter.

We had several guests during autumn, one was even a real celebrity: Farad of the TV show FC Z who told us about his experiences with football and the training in the show of 28th of October 2005. A picture ofthe show can be seen on the top (from left to right: Fabian, Francisco, Remi, Farad, Mohammed)

Another highlight was certainly the show of 18th of November 2005, featuring a representative of Stockholm Film Festival in a short interview, a live correspondent report from the International student party in Nymble and of course the two students who teach Salsa in Lappis.

A week later we had two guys of the Stockholm Film Festival 2005 in our show.

It became more quiet towards to the end of the year, but now as 2006 has come, we have great plans to give you the best every Friday.

We celebrated the new year with a team party show on 21st January

The story continues...
